Anushka Panday

HER STORY

Anushka has been part of the Breeze of Joy family since her very first year of school, all the way back in Nursery, and today she is a bright, curious Class IX student at Baha'i School Tadong in Gangtok. Her mother, Pema Ongmu Lepcha, works at a monastery, while her father, Bishal Panday, is unable to work due to ongoing health issues. Anushka has an older brother, Aryan, who is 18 and in his first year of college.

Academically, Anushka performs very well, but it's her range of interests that really stands out. She's an active sportswoman who plays both basketball and football, and she has a genuine love of exploring new places and trying new things. She's drawn to books that explore the deeper impacts of life, and has a curious streak that extends to paranormal topics and documentaries. Beyond sports and reading, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and writing, and she has a real heart for helping others whenever she can.

Anushka dreams of becoming a police officer one day, a goal that fits naturally with someone who already shows so much courage, curiosity, and care for the people around her.
